About
Hi, I'm Jay. I built Jolly.
Every group has one person who books the villa, juggles everyone's calendars, and then spends a month answering "what time's the flight?" in the group chat.
I love planning trips. Every one lives in a Google Sheet with 18 columns, and I plan every detail. The trouble is, nobody reads my notes. Once we're away, it's "Where are we going next?" on repeat, and it drives me up the wall.
So I started turning my spreadsheets into presentations. I was basically managing stakeholders, and that took hours too. Then I used AI to turn each trip into its own web app, and my friends loved it. That got me thinking: organisers do so much of the caring in a group, and their hard work deserves some glory and a beautiful page. That's why I built Jolly.
What Jolly does
Paste in the plans you already have. Copy them from a Google Doc, booking emails or your notes. Jolly sorts them into days, asks you about anything it isn't sure of, and turns them into one trip page your whole group can open in any browser. When plans change, you change them once and everyone sees the new version.
Making and sharing your Jolly is free. Your link stays live until 24 hours after the first person opens it. Keep it live for £5 and your group can use it all through the trip. One trip, one payment.
What I care about
The organiser deserves the credit. Planning a group trip is real work. Jolly makes that effort show.
Simple beats clever. If your group can't use it in five seconds, I haven't done my job.
Straight talk about money. You always know what's free and what costs £5. There's no subscription.
Your plans stay private. Only people with your link can see your Jolly. I never sell your data, and your group never gets messages from Jolly.
It's early days
Jolly is a one-person project, so you might spot rough edges. If you do, or if you just want to say hello, email me at [hello@jolly.app]. I read everything.
